Day to day Shit!

3/21 Went to Brunos house to play poker, texas hold'em of course. There was seven people playing, we had a great time drinking and partying, I got second place so I got double my money back. The whole time everyone was shouting in Portuguese which was entertaining as I did not understand most of it but enjoying to watch the different expressions people used while playing.

3/20 I went to Inhotim which is a large park with all kinds of contempary art galleries and exhibits. The best part was you had to walk between each exhibit which some where a half kilometer from the next. The grounds were well landscaped with large trees filled with lichens, ferns and magnificient orchids. Large ponds throughout the park were the home to many species of ducks, geese and other wildlife. Most of the exhibits I did not enjoy as they were not creative but just strange, however there was a few exhibits that made me appreciate thier inventiveness.
3/16 Have been busy traveling the last week or so. I decided to go to Uruguay with a friend from class Benjamin Ryken on March 11th. We tried to catch the 0930 buquebus ferry but missed it by just a few minutes because of the city traffic which was going the speed of a slow jog. We got the later ferry which cost us a little more but made it to Colonia, Uruguay that afternoon. Stayed in the El Viajero hostel same as before, had a great time eating chovitos on the rooftop for dinner then going out with several people from the hostel including two Norwegian girls a guy from each Argentina, Australia, France and Germany. The scene was a dance party with about four or five different rooms playing different types of music with several bars inside and out. We drank and danced the night away having a great time not getting back to the hostel until 0800 a few cups of coffee then a quick nap and on the 1130 bus to Montevideo, we caught another bus to Punta del Este a popular touristy beach town. Two quick days here some sun, pizza, beer and we were off back to Montevideo where I caught my flight to Belo Horizonte (BH) Brasil.

3/9 Last day of class for Biodiversity Studies in Argentina. The last six months seem to have flown by, I guess thats what happens when you are having fun. I will be in BsAs until the 14th of March until I fly to Brazil.

2/26 Last day in Ushuaia waiting for my plane to fly to Buenos Aires. Excited to see some of my classmates again. I plan on taking the buquebus to Colonia in Ururguay in the morning and will stay for two days, I hope I can find something to do thier. ¿Aquarium?

I'm in my hostel room in Ushuaia, Argentina I can't sleep. Gonna go hiking tomorrow it will be good to get up to the mountains. I had lunch today at the worlds most southern golf course not sure how I got there sometimes in life pretty random things happen.
